Spring Break and FCAT

Everyone please have a safe and wonderful Spring Break.

Today marks the end of the 3rd quarter. Only 9 weeks to go till summer break.

Just a reminder for those students in 3rd,4th and 5th grade to please keep up their reading time. Don't forget to encourage any Math and Science questions. The kids will need to be ready to jump back into their school work when we return on Monday, April 4th as they only have 5 days to get back in the swing of school routines and be ready for FCAT. If you are available to help pour juice, give out snack on FCAT mornings, please contact Karen Stephan, our Volunteer coordinator to let her know you are willing to help - that's kmstephan@comcast.net

Thanks!

Kernan Trail Elementary Vision Statement

Why a New Vision for Kernan Trail Elementary?

Previously, Kernan Trail Elementary was part of Kernan Middle School. They shared the same vision. The Kernan Trail School Advisory Council decided it would benefit the school to change and personalize our vision for an elementary school. With the effort of parents, teachers, students and administrators, several vision options were created. Representatives of each stakeholder group went back to their group to come to consensus on the new vision statement. KTE SAC is proud to announce the new vision statement for Kernan Trail Elementary is:

KTE inspires students, teachers and parents to take the journey of lifelong learning through our commitment to teaching, our quest for learning and community involvement.
